CMC Marine operates in the market for yacht’ stabilizing systems and thruster. The over twenty years of experience of the founders in the industry, as well as the consistent investments in R&D, allowed the company to become a major international player in its sector. In 2009 CMC Marine launched on the market Stabilis Electra, first and unique stabilizing system with an electrical actuator instead of the traditional hydraulic one. In 2013 Stabils Electra’s project obtained the European Patent: EU Patent n° 2172394.
CMC Marine’s product range can satisfy the request of any Shipyard and Owner. It includes the Stabilis range of stabilization systems, available with electric actuator, a solution successfully developed for the very first time by the Company itself, and hydraulic ones, and the Dualis dual propeller range of thrusters, also available with hydraulic or electrical transmission.
CMC Marine is an industrial manufacturer of stabilization systems and stern and bow thrusters for yachts and passenger ships over 16 metres. Created in 2005, the company draws on its founders’ twenty years of experience in the field. CMC Marine designs and build the most sophisticated ship stabilization systems and thrusters, that can be found on the market, including the Stabilis Electra range: the world’s first stabilization system with electrical rather than hydraulic transmission, winner of the 2011 Dame Award, the most prestigious acknowledgement for technological innovation in the shipbuilding industry worldwide. In 2012 the European Patent Office issued the definitive patent for the system (EU PATENT n°2172394).
