Corrosion surveys are performed to determine a vessel's level of cathodic protection, the integrity of the vessel's bonding system, and check for the presence of destructive stray current leakages. Ward's Marine Electric ABYC marine corrosion certified technicians use industry standard tools such as a silver-silver chloride reference cell to perform testing and determine the cause of corrosion on any vessel. Upon completion of this testing, a written survey report describing the cause of the corrosion and recommended repairs or upgrades can be provided.
Ward's Marine Electric stocks and provides installation services for corrosion control equipment such as fail safe galvanic isolators, hull potential meters, reference electrodes, and propeller shaft brushes. Ward's Marine Electric also stocks all of the accessories and equipment needed to complete any corrosion control repair or upgrade such as marine grade tinned cabling, terminal blocks, tubular ring terminals, and heat shrink tubing.
